About us
We're volunteers in the UAE and the Netherlands who believe every street cat deserves a safe home.
How it started
It started with one cat behind a supermarket in Dubai. A skinny tabby who turned up every evening at exactly the same time, sat at a careful distance and waited to see if the food was meant for her. It was. A week later she brought friends.
Feeding became neutering, neutering became vet visits, and vet visits led to a question nobody could answer: what happens to the cats who can't go back to the street? The local shelters were full. Families in the Netherlands, it turned out, were not.
So we learned. Microchips, rabies tests, export permits, flight crates, a three-month waiting period and more paperwork than any of us knew existed. The first cats flew in 2022. Since then, [83] have made the same journey, and the tabby who started it all now sleeps on a sofa in Amsterdam.
Why we do this
Thousands of cats live on the streets of the UAE, facing heat, traffic and disease. Local shelters are full. Meanwhile, families in the Netherlands are looking for a cat to love. We connect the two, carefully, legally and with every cat's health put first.
